CURRENT PARTNER

PHEN-DEY FOUNDATION

It is hard to find words for the wonderful and amazing partnership we have with Phen-Dey. Over the last few years Phen-Dey has helped us support 1,000’s in India, as well as witness underserved communities. We have more planned for 2021 and beyond with them.

Although the Phen-dey Foundation mission is for education, cultural, social and development activities related to the preservation and promotion of the Tibetan culture, they constantly look for ways to support the larger Indian communities that surround many of their projects. They want to assure the country that has done so much for them is supported too.

This commitment helped us to create wells in two Indian villages populated by members of the untouchable caste. We were able to assist in bridging a gap in services for this important community and our hope is to do much more.

PREVIOUS PARTNERS

LOVE TRIBE PROJECT

Although an initial project in Kenya a few years ago did not pan out, we had the opportunity to connect to a newly formed organization called Love Tribe Project who is working in the Amboseli region of South Eastern Kenya.

They partner with different organizations on the ground, including My Chosen Vessels (read more below) to tackle a wide range of initiatives supporting Maasai tribes in that area of Kenya. This includes water, education, and health projects.

They are committed to raising awareness and funds to help women and their families from Maasai villages in Kenya, Africa, have access to water by building wells, providing safe water solutions, building schools, and develop entrepreneurial programs for women in their communities.

MY CHOSEN VESSELS

We met Jessica Censotti from My Chosen Vessels and knew we had an excellent partner on the ground in Kenya. She is one of the main point people working with the Love Tribe Project and assures that committed projects are completed.

However, she also has her own incredible organization that does extensive and powerful work in the Kenyan and Tanzanian communities. Founded in 2009, My Chosen Vessels 501(c)(3) organization in the USA & a registered NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) in Kenya. Their mission is to empower Maasai people through our water, education, and culture conservation initiatives.

They believe every Maasai person should have access to clean water & education for their ancient culture to survive. Their programs are led by a Maasai Chiefs Council which consists of 15 traditional Maasai chiefs spanning Kenya and Tanzania.
